Giraffes, Korean food, and Exams! Oh My!
Lately I've been extremely busy balancing school work and a social life. Strange how when I'm super busy I have plans that totally fill up my weekend.
Anyways~ It's been amazing nonetheless. I went out to lunch with my Korean friends and finally got to try authentic Korean food! It was delicious. I spent a ton of money at a Korean market and got aloe juice (sounds nasty but it's yummy) and some little treats. Unfortunately I ate all the snacks I got within a few days so I need to make another trip to the market!
Because my Korean friends have never been to the Cincinnati Zoo, I took them there with my friend Cait and we all got to feed a giraffe. Jaeim and I were really excited because our favorite animal is a giraffe. She thankfully got this photo of me on Giraffe Ridge right next to the very-pregnant Tessa. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad they got to experience one of the best zoos in America (it's a fact!)
I also have been swamped by quizzes and exams. I took my first Korean exam last week and got a 93. My friends and I were the only three in the class to get A's which I thought was kind of funny. I was so happy with my grade but I'm hoping I can do better on the next exam.
I wish I had more time to write and take photos but I'm just so busy nowadays! However, I'm going to my uncle's this weekend for my family's Oktoberfest so I'll definitely bring my Nikon along since he has such a beautiful lake. Hopefully I'll get those photos posted soon!
Hope everyone's doing well :)
