Music Flashback: A Playlist For the 1960's
Oh the 60's. A time where I wish I was a teen/young adult so I could experience amazing bands performing live. I could have seen Jefferson Airplane, David Bowie and The Who in their prime. Every so often I get a little sad knowing I'll never get to see them but I made a playlist to make me feel like I'm in the 1960's! Check out my playlist below!
Space Oddity - David Bowie
The love of my life <3
Hello, I Love You - The Doors
I'm A Believer - The Monkees*
I got to see The Monkees this Summer and actually got to meet Davy Jones!
White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane
Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin
Nights In White Satin - Moody Blues
I fell in love with this song after reading Perks of Being a Wallflower. Since then I learned the flute part and have listened to it over and over on repeat. It was pretty much the soundtrack to my Summer.
Scarborough Fair - Simon & Garfunkel
Yet another song I found through Perks!
Dear Mr. Fantasy - Traffic
Pinball Wizard - The Who
Wild Thing - Jimi Hendrix
Me & Bobby McGee - Janis Joplin
California Dreamin' - Mamas and Papas
A Hard Day's Night - The Beatles
Those are some of my favorites from the 1960's. What music from the 60's is your favorite?
