Which Space Song is Better?: 'Rocket Man' or 'Space Oddity'?

It's no secret that I am completely infatuated with David Bowie. I also have a fascination for Elton John, who is another talented musician I grew up listening to. I asked my mom the other day if she liked Elton John's "Rocket Man" better than David Bowie's "Space Oddity." Both are about space and the reality of never coming back, or taking a long time to get back home. So my question to all of you is, who has the better space song? Bowie or Elton?
